Introducing the New BPB Community
After months of planning and testing, I’m excited to launch the new BPB Community.
This update brings a new and improved commenting system and a dedicated Community section, making it easier than ever for readers to share, discuss, and connect.
I hope you’ll enjoy the new commenting features and the Community threads. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s changed and what’s coming next.
A Better Commenting Experience
The updated commenting system introduces several highly requested features:
- Comment editing – You can now edit your comment up to 15 minutes after posting.
- Likes – Upvote comments to highlight helpful contributions.
- Threads and replies – Collapse or expand replies for a cleaner view.
- Sorting options – Arrange comments by newest, oldest, or most liked.
- Improved moderation – Better tools to keep discussions relevant and useful.
- Thread subscriptions – Stay in the loop by subscribing to comment threads.
The New BPB Community Section
Many of you have asked for a dedicated space to share your latest freeware and deal finds, and now it’s here.
I was trying to find a way to make the comments feel more like a forum but without losing the convenience of simply visiting the page and posting and I think this setup is the sweet spot.
As before, you don’t need to register a user account – simply enter your name and email address and post in one of the community threads.
The BPB Community section launches with two main threads:
Both threads will be refreshed weekly to keep the comments easier to browse. More threads and sections will be added in the future based on your feedback.

This is just the beginning, and your input is absolutely crucial in shaping the features of the BPB Community.
The current setup is still in beta – I’m looking forward to your feedback. I won’t be able to implement all of your suggestions, but I’ll try to add more improvements in the months to come.
