2026 DMC World DJ Championships will see A-Trak, Skratch Bastid and more perform at KOKO London

The 2026 DMC World DJ Championships return to London on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 November at Camden’s KOKO. DMC41 will see the next generation of championship DJs battle for the crown of 2026 DMC World Champion.

Meanwhile, some of the most influential names in turntablism will be performing, including A-Trak, Skratch Bastid, Monie Love, and Scratch Perverts, who are reuniting for the first time in 20 years.

More than 50 DJs representing countries and DMC branches around the world are expected to compete across three disciplines: DMC Classic, the original format that has defined generations of battle DJs; DMC Open, the no-limits championship that lets DJs push the creative possibilities of modern technology; DMC Scratch, a head-to-head contest built around one of the foundations of turntablism: the scratch

The World Eliminations run from 3 pm to 11 pm at THEATA on Victoria Embankment, where the international finalists compete for a place in Saturday’s final. DJ Craze, three-time consecutive DMC World Champion, returns for a special performance joined by Japan’s DJ KOCO, also known as Shimokita.

A-Trak, who won his first DMC World Championship at age 15, is set to perform with Skratch Bastid. They are joined by UK hip-hop pioneer Monie Love, the UK B-Boy Champs Allstars and the Golden Era Allstars, a trio of Cutmaster Swift, DJ Pogo and Prime Cuts.

Once the champions are crowned, the official DMC World Championship After Party runs from 9 pm to 3 am at Dingwalls in Camden Lock, bringing together competitors, artists, judges, DMC alumni and the wider DJ community.

DMC has run the championships since 1985 and has been the pinnacle of competitive DJing for more than 40 years. This year’s edition follows DMC40 in Tokyo, where Japan’s DJ Fummy took the world title.
