One of Atlanta’s proudest achievements, rapper 21 Savage is not letting the year go by. In fact, the artist just revealed the trailer for his upcoming album WHAT HAPPENED TO THE STREETS?.
The monochromatic visual treat is a montage of clips that scream both grit and high art. Slated to release on December 12, the album will finally mark Savage’s return to the mainstream.
Opening with the footage of a child walking amongst pigeons as they fly, to ending with a solid frame of a man holding a pistol — the trailer has the feel of a fleeting memory. Seemingly part nostalgia and part trauma. What do you think it will be like?
