ADAM Audio has unveiled its new flagship H715 Reference open-back headphones. They made their debut at the recent 2026 Amsterdam Dance Event, and are positioned as a higher-end pair of cans for mixing and mastering engineers.
They feature custom 40mm, 150Ω dynamic drivers with titanium-plated PEN diaphragms and neodymium magnets, paired with tuned suspension and a patent-pending ventilation system. for superior sound. The drivers are angled within a permeable woven steel mesh and the driver outlet is surrounded by dense acoustic material, which ADAM says dampens resonance peaks.
Each pair comes with software built with EQ specialists Sonnox. The Headphone Utility plug-in, first launched alongside the closed-back H200, now includes H715-specific calibration profiles and user-adjustable crossfeed, to help loudspeaker mixes translate to headphones.
The package also includes ListenHub, a standalone macOS app for virtual monitoring. It lets users line up reference tracks from streaming platforms, match loudness and check mono, sides and balance. ListenHub can host plug-ins including Headphone Utility, giving system-wide, source-independent calibration.
For home listening, the H715 Reference can be connected to the balanced output of a Hi-Fi amplifier using an included 3m double-entry cable with a 4.4 mm Pentaconn connector. Hi-Fi mode is activated by pressing a recessed button inside the left earcup with the supplied metal pin.
The headphones weigh 302g without cable and use a spring steel headband, with a central cutout in the padding to relieve pressure on the crown. Milled aluminium yokes attach the headband to the earcups which fold flat when not being used.
They also feature a modular design with replaceable cables, earpads and headband padding. You can connect your cable either side via 2.5mm TRS jacks.
The ADAM Audio H715 Reference headphones are priced at £569.99 / $824.99 / €669.99, and are expected to ship from December 2026.
