Arturia has premiered their latest synthesizer, the Polybrute 12, as the newest addition to the Brute family. Surpassing its predecessor, the Polybrute 12 boasts a doubled voice count, making it an indispensable tool for crafting intricate soundscapes and lush textures.
Retaining the core features of the original Polybrute, such as three oscillators per voice, dual filter architecture comprising Steiner and ladder filters, three envelopes, three LFOs, and a comprehensive modulation matrix, the Polybrute 12 also preserves the unique morphing functionality, allowing seamless transitions between distinct sounds. Notably, the inclusion of the Morphée 3D touch controller and ribbon controller further enhances the expressive capabilities of the instrument. However, the Polybrute 12 introduces a groundbreaking innovation – the FullTouch keyboard technology – a paradigm shift in synthesizer keybed design that enables new levels of expression and control previously unattainable with traditional keyboards.
