This week in R&B, we’re embracing the soft stillness of early mornings. It doesn’t matter if you’re still basking in your post-sex afterglow or settling into the emotions after an honest conversation, there’s a new release with your name on it.

With new arrivals from Asiahn, Savannah Ré, Annie Tracy, GIVĒON, Cautious Clay, Rob Milton, and more, find what you need or check out all of VIBE’s top new R&B picks.

Asiahn – FREE

Asiahn is back with her third studio album, FREE. The singer invites fans into her world of liberation through hypnotizing melodies and passionate storytelling.

“Welcome to my world where R&B meets liberation. Each note and each lyric is a step towards freedom—freedom from the past, freedom from unlearned lessons, and freedom to embrace love without restraint,” the singer explained of the release. “This isn’t just an album. It’s an experience.”

Personal standouts include “BREATHE,” “BOUT IT,” “WATCH ME,” the previously released “IJS,” and lead single, “WASSUP WIT IT.”

Savannah Ré – Formed

Savannah Ré returns with a heartfelt new album, Formed, a sequel to 2022’s No Weapons.

The singer shared that Formed is “a celebration and reaffirmation” of where she is today.

“’Formed’ was initially going to be the Part II, to my last EP [and] then my life completely changed in so many ways! I became completely independent and began walking a completely different path,” Savannah shared in a statement. “In a serendipitous way, ‘Formed’ grew into something completely its own. The project is about the journey and all the imperfect nuances of becoming who you’re supposed to be, in a light and triumphant way.”

Among our favorite tracks are “Bodies/Sweet,” “Nine Lives,” “Go ‘Head,” and “Sex With My Ex.”

Annie Tracy – “Accessory”

We were introduced to Annie Tracy at the 2023 Strength Of A Woman Festival. Now, the rising songbird begins her next chapter with “Accessory,” off her new EP, Scared of Heights.

It’s a cheeky yet seductive club anthem that makes desire of a person the focal point.

“The idea for ‘Accessory’ came to me after locking eyes with my new favorite accessory [a person] and trying to visualize what it would look like on me,” Annie teased. “That prompted thoughts of another kind of adornment. As much as I will forever be an accessory girl and love putting together a killer fit before going out, there is something about walking into the function with ‘that’ person by your side that will always hit harder than even my best fit.”

Safe to say, we’re obsessed.

Cautious Clay – The Hours: Morning

Cautious Clay’s new album, The Hours: Morning, is definitely one of them ones.

The lush, conceptual LP is a true mark in time as he navigates the wave of emotions that arise before noon. If you’re looking for something new to vibe with, we recommend pressing play on this first.

GIVĒON – “Rather Be”

GIVĒON’s “Rather Be” showcases the crooner at his softest.

Following the cathartic arrival of “Twenties,” which kicked off his next musical era, “Rather Be” is more about choosing versus settling especially when it comes to love.

“This song is a reflection on acceptance. The idea of seeing someone’s flaws and choosing to stay,” GIVĒON noted in a statement. “It’s about loving someone not for who they could be, but for who they are, and realizing that real connection isn’t about starting over, it’s about holding on.”

José James – 1978: Revenge of The Dragon

José James is such a rare talent and his new album, 1978: Revenge Of The Dragon proves such.

Playing off the elements from the ’70s jazz scene, the boldness of Bob Marley and The Isley Brothers, and the showstopping nature of funk and disco, James puts his own spin on Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You,” and other classics from The Rolling Stones, Herbie Hancock, and the Bee Gees while making way for his own sonic journey.

Sabrina Claudio – “Memory Foam”

Sabrina Claudio has shared the final preview from her forthcoming album, Fall In Love With Her, with her new single, “Memory Foam.”

Considered to be the LP’s focus track, the record “captures Sabrina’s emotional journey of rebuilding after heartbreak and navigating the path back to love.” The accompanying video spotlights the importance of sisterhood as you fight to recenter yourself post-breakup.

Rob Milton feat. DearJohn – “Honey”

Fresh off his 2025 GRAMMY win, Rob Milton returns his new single, “Honey,” with fellow rising R&B sensation, DearJohn. The sultry groove, produced by Dana “Big Dane” Johnson, is an endearing reminded that “in a world that feels increasingly chaotic, keep our words sweet with the ones we love.”

The “keep it right there” intro was a touching nod to Luther Vandross’ “Superstar” and this is definitely one of those tunes that’ll make you want to be wrapped in the arms of a lover.

SHERIE – “Truth Is” (VIDEO)

We boasted about SHERIE’s debut EP, Yours Deeply, when it came out back in March. Now, she has dropped the visual to her chilling single, “Truth Is.”

Of the Reel Goats production, the blossoming phenom shared, “This video tells the story of love that’s been through fire— where words sometimes cut like daggers, but the heart still fights to heal. It’s about the raw moments, the breaking points, and the quiet redemption that follows when two people choose to stay.”

Davionne Jackson – Extended Edition

Davionne Jackson’s debut was truly the beginning of everything, but the crooner is back with the Extended Edition that truly cements why this project needs to stay in your rotation.

Though he’s already gearing up to introduce fans to his sophomore era, this project closes out chapter 1 quite nicely with confident tracks like “Kiss You,” “Overflow,” and “Recovery.”
