On Saturday, February 8th, Dilla Day LA celebrated the late J. Dilla’s birthday, life, and legacy with an all-Detroit lineup. Each act shut down the house, making it a night to remember in LA. Young RJ and T-3 of Slum Village headlined this year’s Dilla Day, performing hits from their latest project F.U.N as well as from their previous catalog.
Phat Kat opened up the night and pumped the crowd. Wildchild of the Lootpack continued the energy, delivering classics. Guilty Simpson delivered an immaculate performance, bringing out MED and Young Hump as special guests.
Frank N Dank co-headlined the night, contributing to keeping the energy alive and showcasing their catalog.
