The Drake vs Fantano lore stretches way back, with the two having exchanged words and opinions over the internet; clearly, the two do not like each other. Be it the time when Drake messaged Fantano to rate his existence a “light 1” in response to reviews he did not agree with, or even when Fantano hyped up the Kendrick releases over Drake’s during the battle, the two have often locked horns on issues big and small.

Recently, however, things have only gotten more intense. On X, Fantano took to battling off Drake and Akademiks’ fans, making comments alluding to Drake’s p*dophile allegations. These tweets seem to have been deleted now, but that is the least of Fantano’s problems. This is mainly because certain questionable clips have surfaced back online in which Fantano can be seen being racist. To be more precise and fair, Fantano was in fact quoting and calling out the racism and bigotry being paraded by somebody else who used the N word alongside a homophobic slur.

In addition to Fantano repeating the slurs, a clip also surfaced where he seemed to be making light of the tragic passing away of Trayvon Martin. Now, while this is certainly not the best look for Fantano, the situation clearly has Drake happy. The rapper seems to be enjoying the backlash Fantano is receiving, and did not hold back on trolling him via Instagram stories. How? Just a plain image of Anthony Fantano, with a bunch of laughing emojis placed at the moustache. In the meantime, Fantano took to social media to issue a public statement and apologise for the lapse in judgement in his early years. What do you think?
