Flame Sound offers Heatwave, a cinematic soundscape library, for free until February 15 as a Valentine’s Day gift.
As many BPB readers already know, Flame Sound is my cinematic sound design label. I publish premium sounds for movie production, trailers, game development, and music production while keeping the prices accessible for beginners and indie creators.
Heatwave usually costs $29, but I decided to give it away for two days as a little Valentine’s Day gift, so you can grab it today or tomorrow at no cost.
Heatwave is a collection of 100 royalty-free cinematic soundscapes designed to add depth, movement, and atmosphere to your projects. The library is divided into four categories: Chords, Moods, Noises, and Textures.
It’s organized in a way that (hopefully) makes it easy to find the right type of material for your project, whether you’re building tension in an EDM track or layering subtle ambience in a trailer.
All files are delivered in 24-bit, 48 kHz stereo WAV format. You can drag and drop them straight into your DAW, video editor, or sampler without any additional conversion.
The sounds are organized in clearly labeled folders with descriptive filenames, so you can quickly audition and place them in your session.
Although Heatwave is aimed at filmmakers, video editors, and game developers, I think it works just as well for music production. You can use the soundscapes as background layers, transitional effects, or raw material for further processing.
Feel free to time-stretch them, reverse them, slice them in a sampler, or resample them through granular tools to create entirely new textures.

The sounds are production-ready and mastered for consistent levels while maintaining clarity. Since the library is 100% royalty-free, you can use it in commercial and non-commercial projects, including YouTube and other streaming platforms, without worrying about copyright issues.
In addition to the audio content, Heatwave also includes high-resolution wallpapers for desktop and mobile.
The free offer ends on February 15, after which the library returns to its regular $29 price.
Heatwave is compatible with any DAW or video editing software that supports WAV files, including platforms like Premiere, Final Cut, Ableton Live, and more.
I hope you’ll enjoy this freebie. Let me know what you think!
