Whether you’re chasing the perfect balance, space for vocals, or giving a solo the appropriate platform, these are processes that can sometimes become more tedious than they should be. Trackspace aims to eliminate the need for complex automation and achieve satisfying results through precise analysis and a few simple controls.
Trackspacer splits the incoming sidechain signal into 32 bands and analyses them individually. After analysing the spectrum of the sidechain, Trackspacer uses a 32-band EQ to apply a reversed EQ curve.
The 32-band EQ carves out the most appropriate frequencies, with great precision, to give the source track all the space it needs.
The simple interface has just three knobs: Amount, Low-Cut, and High-Cut.
- The Amount knob controls the amount of reduction (negative gain of the filters) applied to the signal.
- The Low/High-Cut controls adjust the range in which the effect is applied.
- A Freeze button allows you to pause the reduction.
Although a straightforward plugin, Trackspacer has an Advanced panel with access to pan settings, stereo/M-S processing modes, and Attack/Release parameters to adjust the gain reduction reaction and recovery time.
It also features a handy Sidechain Audition function that allows you to hear the sidechain with the Low/High-Cut filters applied for fine-tuning.
