Honey Bxby is ready to make her mark in the world of R&B. Hailing from New Jersey, the singer takes personal experiences and emotions and channels them into ballads and bops for fans to dance to, sing along with, and overall relate to.
This summer, Honey Bxby was able to sow the fruits of her labor. Since 2019, she has been steadily writing, rehearsing, and releasing music; all of which have prepared her for big collaborations, a bigger platform, new stages, and a refreshing era of her career.

Fresh off the release of her Raw Honey EP in May and a tour with SAINt JHN, Honey Bxby made her way to the rest of the world. At the BET Awards 2025 Pre-Show in June, she and Lil Kim made their debut performance of “Left Eye” remix, Honey Bxby’s standout track, which samples Mobb Deep’s “Quiet Storm.”
“I was definitely really nervous. I was shaking. My hands were like, ‘Oh, my God!’ Because it was my first time just doing something like that,” Honey Bxby told VIBE the following morning. “Looking back at it, it looks really good. I definitely worked really hard for that performance, and I’m definitely proud of the outcome.”
Preparation was key for her career-defining moment.
“I detoxed. I cut off alcohol,” she explained. “I have really long rehearsals. Just to have muscle memory, because I don’t do choreo, for real. That was my first time doing choreo like that, especially on-camera. I was resting as much as possible because I had a really long week. I was working a lot. I tried to make sure that I rested as much as I could so that when the time came, I wasn’t exhausted.”
Summer only heated up from there. Since then, the rising talent has been named the BET Amplified Artist for July, took the stage at the 2025 ESSENCE Festival, performed at the Rise Up NYC concert series, and more. For Honey Bxby, it’s all part of the plan.
The songwriter promised fans, “The best music possible,” up next. I’m coming for the number one spot, just for you guys.”
