Remember how Wiz Khalifa recently claimed that he was supposed to be on J. Cole’s latest release ‘cLOUDs‘, and how he didn’t know when Cole was going to drop it?

Well, that was in the last week of February and since it went somewhat viral, Cole has indeed fulfilled his promise: The song, with Wiz Khalifa’s verse, is out now J. Cole’s personal blog, Inevitable.

So far, it is unclear whether the official collaboration will release on streaming services or not, but if Cole’s new release strategy is any proof, it is likely that it will, and that a blog release is just for core fans to get it early.

Talking about Wiz’s verse on it, Cole remarks on his blog, “Wiz skating. TGOD. And he been on a wave.” Giving the rapper his flowers, Cole also shouted out another one of his joints with Premo Rice, Harry Fraud and Curren$y (titled ‘Jill Scott’) which was a track TJ Warren played for Cole.

As Wiz prepares to drop an album this year, a slew of freestyles flood our ears. It really seems that both the mixtape and blog era are coming back in 2025. What do you think?
