Sony Music UK has appointed Jerome Porritt as Head of A&R at RCA Records UK.
Porritt, who will report to Co-Presidents Glyn Aikins and Stacey Tang, brings over a decade of experience in A&R, and was most recently Head of A&R at Warner Records and Parlophone UK.
He will be responsible for overseeing the signing and creative development of the label’s artists, spearheading RCA’s A&R team, which saw success in 2025 with the likes of JADE, Bring Me The Horizon, Cat Burns, and Myles Smith.
Other domestic artists on RCA UK include Paloma Faith, Nothing But Thieves, Sasha Keable, Nectar Woode, and Cat Burns, joining US acts Beyoncé, P!nk, Travis Scott, SZA, Miley Cyrus, Sleep Token, and Lil Nas X.
At Warner Records and Parlophone, Porritt was behind platinum-selling hits such as Max Dean’s Can’t Decide, Disco Lines’ Broke Boys, and The Blessed Madonna’s Happier.
He also played a pivotal role in the signings of Chase & Status, Luude, Steel Banglez, Sofia & The Antoinettes, and MIST.

Sony Music Entertainment UK announced the promotions of widely respected executives Stacey Tang and Glyn Aikins as Co-Presidents of RCA UK in February 2023.
Elsewhere at Sony Music UK, in December 2024, Azi Eftekhari was appointed Chief Operating Officer.
