Juvenile canceled his October 21 Minneapolis show after two earlier delays, leaving First Avenue ticket holders with a refund plan and no replacement date, according to the venue and a new local report.
For online and phone purchases through AXS, First Avenue gave a window of up to 30 business days for automatic refunds. The money will return to the card charged for the tickets. Refunds for tickets purchased elsewhere are handled by the seller. AXS support and its app are the venue’s listed contacts for ticket help.
The page still contains old instructions to keep tickets for a rescheduled show. Its cancellation notice at the top gives the current refund directions.
Bring Me The News reported October 17 that the concert had first been set for July 14, then August 9, before moving to October. First Avenue’s artist page lists both earlier 2026 dates as postponed. Those shifts stretched the local booking across more than three months.

The local outlet said Juvenile had offered no explanation, and his representatives did not immediately respond to its request for comment. Its report landed four days before the planned show.
The canceled date was billed as the “Boiling Point Album Release Tour” with The 400 Degreez Band & Friends, presented by Carbon Sound. Juvenile released the album earlier this year. The show was a return to a room where he and the band played with Mannie Fresh on October 2, 2024, during his “Back That Azz Up 25th Anniversary Tour.”
That live-band approach also shaped his 2023 “Tiny Desk Concert” in NPR’s Washington, D.C., offices. Fans had urged him to do that performance after he initially dismissed the idea. The lineup included Mannie Fresh, Trombone Shorty and Jon Batiste, with Louisiana Philharmonic strings for the finale. They performed songs including “Ha,” “Slow Motion” and “Back That Azz Up,” with the audience calling for an encore.
Other stops remain on Juvenile’s official tour page, which now starts with October 22 at Lincoln, Nebraska’s Bourbon Theatre. St. Louis on October 23 and Memphis on October 24 follow. Minneapolis is absent from that itinerary. First Avenue’s notice states, “There is no rescheduled date at this time.”
