Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us and Euphoria are still soaring on Spotify

 

Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us is a big hit.

The single, a diss track recorded by Lamar as part of a bitter rap feud with Drake, was released on May 4 as part of a series of three diss tracks, all released within a few days of each other (the other tracks are Euphoria and Meet The Grahams).

Not Like Us (Interscope) reached No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week (for the chart dated May 18, 2024), marking Lamar’s fourth-ever US No.1, and his second this year, following Like That by Future, Metro Boomin & Kendrick Lamar, which hit No.1 in April.

The track also marks the first US No.1 for Not Like Us producer Mustard.

Lamar’s other US No.1s in his career to date include Humble, from his Pulitzer Prize-winning album Damn., which hit No.1 in May 2017, and Bad Blood (by Taylor Swift feat. Kendrick Lamar), which landed at No.1 in June 2015.

One of Lamar’s other Drake diss tracks, Euphoria, released on April 30, is currently at No.3 on the US Hot 100.

Lamar’s US chart success for Not Like Us and Euphoria has been driven by explosive streams.

According to Chartmetric data analyzed by MBW, Not Like Us has been streamed 121.54 million times to date on Spotify, where he has 28.9 million followers and over 71 monthly listeners.

The track, as of May 17, is achieving an average daily stream count of 9.26 million on the platform (see below).

Not Like Us has also topped Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs USA chart for the past two weeks.

As you can see from the chart below, Not Like Us is also seeing significant growth on YouTube.

The audio posted to Kendrick Lamar’s official YouTube channel on May 5 has been viewed over 42 million times to date and is currently averaging 1.98 million views daily.



Lamar has 14.3 million YouTube subscribers.

Elsewhere, on Pandora, Not Like Us had been streamed 2.7 million times as of May 15, according to Chartmetric data analyzed by MBW.

The track has also resulted in 6,773 Pandora Track Stations as of May 15 (see below). A track station on Pandora is an algorithmically generated list of music based on this track.

On SoundCloud, Not Like Us has racked up over 1.73 million streams so far and is seeing an average daily change of nearly 142,000 streams on the platform, according to Chartmetric data.

Lamar has 1.08 million followers on SoundCloud.

Euphoria:

Lamar’s other recent single Euphoria, which is currently No.3 on the US Hot 100, has been streamed 100.69 million times on Spotify since it was released on April 30.

According to Chartmetric data analyzed by MBW, the track is currently averaging 6.36 million streams daily (see below).

On YouTube, Euphoria had achieved 23.3 million views and was seeing its average daily views rise by 1.02 million as of May 16.



The audio for Euphoria was posted to Kendrick Lamar’s official YouTube channel, which has 14.3 million YouTube subscribers, on April 30.

On SoundCloud, Euphoria had been streamed 2.2 million times as of May 17 with an average daily change of over 138,900 streams.

On Pandora, Euphoria has been streamed 1.48 million times so far and has resulted in  2,528 Pandora Track Stations as of May 15, according to Chartmetric data (see below).
