Lil Durk was found not guilty of orchestrating a murder-for-hire plot that resulted in the murder of Quando Rondo’s cousin.
Prosecutors allege that Durk put together the plan to murder Quando Rondo, real name Tyquian Bowman. The rapper’s cousin was killed in broad daylight in L.A. on August 19th 2022, which they allege was a mistake. Durk denied any involvement.
The Chicago rapper was facing a life sentence if found guilty. It’s worth noting that he remains in jail due to a separate racketeering case.
