Max B is officially a free man after spending more than 15 years behind bars.

The Harlem-bred rapper was released from prison on Sunday (November 9) and was welcomed home by friends and family, including longtime collaborator French Montana.

A video posted by French on social media showed the two rappers embracing each other in an emotional (and long-awaited) moment outside of the prison.

“CANT MAKE THIS UP ! MY BROTHER REALLY CAME HOME ON MY B DAY ! HAMDULILLAH,” the Coke Boys capo captioned the clip. “WALKED IT DOWN ! NO MORE FREE YOU  [wave emojis].”

Max B (real name Charley Wingate) served 16 years for his role in an armed robbery-gone-wrong that resulted in a man’s death.

He was arrested back in 2007 on murder and robbery conspiracy charges after David Taylor was killed in an armed robbery that Max had allegedly orchestrated.

The Million Dollar Baby rapper originally received a 75-year prison sentence that was later changed to 20 years after he pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter.

Biggavel has already been making the most his newfound freedom. French Montana posted a video on Instagram of them in the studio together working on a third installment of their fan-favorite Coke Wave mixtape.

Max also attended Sunday’s New York Jets game against the Cleveland Browns. “I feel righteous! I feel good! I’m grateful, thankful. God is good,” he said in a brief interview with the popular Instagram ‘fit channel The People Gallery.

Getting right back to the music grind, the newly-freed rapper is set to embark on a seven-date tour this month, playing clubs across the East Coast including in New York City, Rhode Island and Trenton.
