Native Instruments Launches Maschine 3.7 Update & 3 New Expansions

Native Instruments has announced Maschine 3.7, a major free update for its Maschine 3 beat-making and production software, alongside three new Expansions: Thirty, a 30th-anniversary collection that resamples and reimagines highlights from across Native Instruments’ own catalogue; Paris Heat, a French house-inspired pack built for future-facing club music; and Rage Circuit, a rage and hypertrap collection created with GRAMMY-winning producer Snipe Young. Together, the release marks one of the biggest content drops in Maschine’s history and celebrates three decades of Native Instruments with new tools and new sounds for producers at every stage of their career.

New update. New sounds. Continued support. Maschine is alive and evolving, and this update packs in a host of fresh features. To celebrate, Native Instruments is launching three special Expansions, including Thirty, a 30th-birthday edition built entirely from the company’s own back catalogue.

Maschine 3 is Native Instruments’ beat-making and music production software, usable on its own or with Maschine hardware. It’s built to keep musical ideas flowing at every step, letting producers lay down beats, sample, arrange, and perform with virtual instruments or their own sounds, solo or inside a DAW. Maschine 3.7 adds a set of creative sequencing tools designed to get producers out of a blank grid and into a groove faster than ever.

• RANDOM NOTE GENERATOR: Let Maschine write the notes. Set the odds and start from an idea instead of an empty grid.
• EUCLIDEAN SEQUENCER: Dial in steps, fills, and rotation to create grooves you’d never draw by hand. Live mode updates them in real time while the loop runs.
• NOTE EVENT (CHANCE): Give every note a chance value. Maschine re-rolls it on each loop so the pattern keeps breathing, and any take can be locked in the moment it’s right.

Maschine Expansions are genre-specific packs that also work in any DAW, created by top artists and sound designers and loaded with loops, samples, one-shots, drum kits, and synth presets. Every Expansion is the work of a single acclaimed artist, producer, or sound designer, never a scattershot of anonymous marketplace uploads, built from real analog gear, vinyl, and tape for authentic character, and mixed to one cohesive sound. Every kit, loop, one-shot, and preset already sounds like it belongs together, with no crate-digging or sound-matching required.
