NordicTrack T Series 10 Treadmill Review (2025)

We test and review fitness products based on an independent, multi-point methodology. If you use our links to purchase something, we may earn a commission. Read our disclosures.

Questions surrounding available programming, durability, price, and overall product dimensions can make finding the best treadmill for your home gym a more taxing workout than actually running on your machine. Thankfully, though, some profiles combine all these notes effortlessly, such as the new-and-improved NordicTrack T Series 10 treadmill.

Featuring iFIT compatibility, a comfortable running surface, compact dimensions, and space-saving storage features, this T Series 10 treadmill is a definite standout amongst the competition, especially when considering the sub-$1,500 price tag. That said, though, is this the best NordicTrack treadmill for your training regimen? We’re here to help you make that decision in this NordicTrack T Series 10 treadmill review.

Examining Top Machines, One Mile at a Time

The Garage Gym Reviews roster of expert testers includes certified personal trainers, competitive strength athletes, CrossFit instructors, and lifelong fitness enthusiasts, alike. We’ve had experience with over 50 different treadmill silhouettes over the years, personally examining each machine’s workout capabilities, embedded conveniences, and more.

For this NordicTrack T Series 10 treadmill review, we relied on these past trials as well as our equipment testing methodology to rate and review this all-new treadmill in a handful of categories. Using a 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest) scale, we scored this NordicTrack silhouette in the following areas, amongst others:

  • Product dimensions: How cumbersome is the overall profile? Can it fit comfortably in small training spaces, or is a larger swath of flooring required?
  • Available programming: How engaging are the available workouts? Would they support regular sessions and keep us coming back for more?
  • Ergonomics: How comfortable is the machine when pacing through different training intensities?
  • Speed and incline ranges: Can this treadmill adjust to accommodate different training protocols like sprints or hill climbs?
  • Value: Do the included features and capabilities justify the price tag?

NordicTrack T Series 10

Product Highlights

* SmartAdjust technology
* Compatible with iFIT
* 10” HD touchscreen
* Lifetime motor warranty

Pros

  • Most affordable NordicTrack treadmill
  • SelectFlex cushioning
  • Compact product dimensions
  • iFIT programming offers thousands of workouts

Cons

  • No decline settings
  • Console doesn’t have an integrated media shelf
  • iFIT subscription is an extra monthly cost
  • No way to digitally control SelectFlex cushioning

The T Series 10 is the most affordable treadmill offered by NordicTrack yet still offers impressive features like a 10-inch HD touchscreen, SelectFlex cushioning, and iFIT compatibility. The smaller dimensions can also be beneficial for athletes trying to make the most of their limited floor space.

A Quick Look at the NordicTrack T Series 10 Treadmill

At first glance, it seems the T Series 10 treadmill hits the right marks. This NordicTrack treadmill measures 75.1 inches long by 34.3 inches wide, taking up 17.89 square feet of space. For reference, that’s less of a footprint than your standard three-seat sofa (23.75 square feet)1. Like the brand’s other best folding treadmills, the T Series 10 comes with EasyLift assist technology that allows you to fold the running deck up when not in use. “I also like its overall smaller footprint and lighter weight, which makes it easier to move around your training space,” notes GGR Reviews Everything lead reviewer Lindsay Scheele.

This NordicTrack T Series 10 treadmill can reach speeds up to 12 miles per hour and inclines up to 12%, all powered by the 3.0 continuous horsepower motor. These settings should be suitable for a wide range of workout needs, even HIIT treadmill workouts. We do want to note that unlike other NordicTrack treadmills, the T Series 10 does not support decline functions.

Our tester training on the NordicTrack T Series 10 Treadmill

As with other NordicTrack products, this treadmill is compatible with iFIT—one of our favorite workout apps for engaging, trainer-led programming. The service not only gives you access to over 16,000 of the best iFIT workouts covering a variety of disciplines, but the platform has also been updated to support streaming services like Netflix, Spotify, and Amazon Prime Video. Of course, though, you’ll need to account for the monthly subscription cost of roughly $39 after your 1-month trial expires.

Before You Buy

  • At roughly $1,500, this is the most affordable NordicTrack treadmill available today.
  • The built-in 10-inch touchscreen does pivot up and down but doesn’t tilt for easier off-treadmill viewing.
  • Per our tester, the SelectFlex cushioning is controlled by your landing, meaning you cannot digitally adjust how firm or soft your underfoot experience is.

With affordable pricing comparable to the best budget treadmills and a slew of athlete-friendly features, the NordicTrack T Series 10 treadmill can be an excellent home treadmill for a range of individuals. Of course, though, no two situations are identical, so we’ve outlined a few groups that may benefit from this budget-friendly machine as well as some camps that may fare better with a different silhouette.

Great for:

  • Athletes looking for an iFIT-enabled treadmill for less than $2,000

Workout Experience with the NordicTrack T Series 10 Treadmill

GGR Reviews Everything lead reviewer and certified personal trainer Lindsay Scheele tried the T Series 10 treadmill for a handful of sessions to get a feel for this all-new NordicTrack profile. We examined the T Series 10 in a variety of categories, rating the machine on a scale of 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest). Here are some of our findings.

Footprint And Portability

When we first received this T Series 10 treadmill for testing, we had to confirm that it was the right machine. At first glance, you could easily mistake it for one of NordicTrack’s other treadmill profiles—the NordicTrack Commercial 1250 (more on that, later). Lindsay states, though, “The T Series 10 is really a smaller, more compact silhouette than the Commercial 1250 treadmill from NordicTrack, even despite the similar appearance.”

Our tester utilizing the foldable deck feature of the NordicTrack T Series 10 Treadmill

The measurements on this machine equate to a footprint of 17.89 square feet, which is comparable to some of the best compact exercise equipment we’ve had in testing. We also appreciate the lighter weight of the T Series 10, which is listed at 250 pounds. Yes, this may seem like a daunting total to move around your training space, but Lindsay comments that the front transport wheels make maneuvering the silhouette a far easier task. As such, we rate the footprint and portability at 4.25 out of 5.

Durability And Construction

In our previous trials with NordicTrack treadmills, we’ve had few issues with durability. The brand routinely offers high-quality constructions that can support high user weight capacities. On paper, we expected this to ring true for the T Series 10. However, Linsday states, “There were a few plastic components that came loose when transporting this treadmill from one corner of our testing gym to the next.”

The major part in question was a hard plastic covering that sits across one of the stabilizers at the rear of the running deck. Linsday states that she merely touched the cap and it came off the treadmill profile. “We’re not sure if this was a problem stemming from the professional assembly service we opted for, or an issue from manufacturing,” she adds. Given the mystery behind these malfunctions, we do rate the T Series 10 treadmill at a conservative 4 out of 5 for durability.

The 60-inch by 20-inch running deck of the NordicTrack T Series 10 Treadmill

The rating remains above the median due to the steel construction showcased across the main framing capable of supporting athletes up to 325 pounds, as well as NordicTrack’s reputation for constructing well-made home gym machines. Plus, it’s easier to account for a few plastic components being less-than-stellar when you’re speaking to the most affordable treadmill profile in a brand’s lineup.

Cushioning

One of the unique features to this T Series 10 treadmill is the SelectFlex adjustable cushioning across the treadmill belt. Like the best cushioned treadmills, this feature can help create a comfortable underfoot experience whether jogging, sprinting, or walking through your training days. Lindsay notes, though, that the “adjustability,” can be confusing at first.

“I expected to change some aspect of the cushioning level on the display console, she states, “But in reality, this treadmill’s running surface has rubber cushioning shocks that can create a little more bounce depending on where you land across the deck.”

The NordicTrack T Series 10 treadmill features SelectFlex cushioning across the 60-inch by 20-inch running surface

In practice, this equates to a responsive running surface that offers up some bounce and give—ideal for running workouts—while remaining stable enough for slower paces. “It’s not the most cushioned deck I’ve experienced from the NordicTrack stable,” Lindsay notes, “But it does provide a good underfoot experience and should be suitable for a range of fitness levels.” We score the cushioning technology at 4.5 out of 5.

Adjustments and Ergonomics

While the SelectFlex system can create smooth landings regardless of your training pace, we also rate the ergonomics at 4 out of 5 given the NordicTrack T Series 10’s low step-up height. “If stepping up or mobility are concerns of yours, the 8.3-inch step-up height should be an appealing metric from this T Series 10,” Lindsay states.

RELATED: Best Treadmills for Bad Knees

We also appreciate the level of adjustability offered through this NordicTrack treadmill. You can toggle your speed up to 12 miles per hour, and the deck can be raised to a pitch of 12%. Unlike other NordicTrack machines, though, the T Series 10 does not support decline functionalities. This limited incline range may be suitable for entry-level cardio enthusiasts, but it could be viewed as a detriment to more seasoned athletes, especially those looking to mimic the real-world conditions of on-road running.

Our tester adjusting their workout settings on the NordicTrack T Series 10 Treadmill

Regardless of the adjustable speed and incline ranges, the T Series 10 also keeps things simplified thanks to the SmartAdjust automatic trainer control available through the iFIT platform. “This tech automatically adjusts your settings for you when following along to trainer-led workouts, giving you more room to focus on your performance rather than matching your machine to the onscreen instructions,” Lindsay notes.

Technology Benefits And Conveniences

One of our favorite features available across all NordicTrack treadmills is the integration with iFIT—one of the best personal training apps available today. “I think that iFIT programming is the best,” Lindsay states. “They continue to add new workouts and trainers, and it’s really been elevated since I started using it.” The service unlocks over 16,000 on-demand, trainer-led workouts, including programs for non-treadmill sessions like yoga, Pilates, strength, and interval training.

The built-in speakers featured on the NordicTrack T Series 10 Treadmill console

In addition to the workouts, iFIT also unlocks automatic trainer control through the T Series 10, which provides a hands-free training experience when following along to onscreen modules. Additionally, Lindsay appreciates the new streaming features that gives athletes the chance to (finally) stream apps like Netflix and Spotify directly through the built-in touchscreen, as well as the all-new AI Coach technology. “Now, this feature is in beta testing, but it essentially gives you an onscreen coach to help you navigate through training plans. It gives your workouts that in-person trainer feel,” she states

While we rate the dynamic programming at 5 out of 5, we do have some callouts concerning the available tech. Yes, the T Series 10 boasts Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to pair your best fitness tracker or heart rate monitor to the machine for better data collection, and the screen does tilt for customizable viewing angles. However, the display console doesn’t pivot completely for easier off-treadmill views, which can make it difficult to use your iFIT subscription ($39.99 monthly) for other training disciplines. Accordingly, we score the tech at 4.25 out of 5.

The 10-inch tilting touchscreen of the NordicTrack T Series 10 Treadmill

Other conveniences include an AutoBreeze cooling fan, two water bottle holders, a USB-C charging port, and two 2-inch premium-quality speakers. Lindsay also points out, “There is no media shelf. I think that this is minor since you have the built-in touchscreen, but if you want the ability to see your tablet or smartphone, there’s really no great place to put it.”

NordicTrack T Series 10 Treadmill vs NordicTrack Commercial 1250 Treadmill

NordicTrack Commercial 1250

Product Highlights

  • Indoor treadmill with incline and decline capabilities
  • Hands-free adjustments
  • 10” screen that can rotate
  • iFIT-enabled

Pros

  • Machine learning adjusts workouts based on user
  • 30-day iFIT membership included
  • Use Google Maps to workout in various places worldwide
  • -3% decline to 12% incline
  • Keep track of your stats

Cons

  • Users have to purchase iFIT after trial ends
  • Relatively expensive
  • Screen is not very big

The NordicTrack Commercial 1250 comes equipped with incline and decline capabilities, Bluetooth and heart rate connectivity, workouts with iFit trainers and more.

If you’re looking for a comparable treadmill to the NordicTrack T Series 10, the easiest challenger sits within the brand’s Commercial stable. Both the NordicTrack Commercial 1250 and T Series 10 feature max speeds of 12 miles per hour, incline adjustments up to 12%, foldable running surfaces, and 10-inch HD touchscreens compatible with the iFIT platform. The differences, though, may be justifiable to certain athletes looking for specific treadmill traits.

The Commercial 1250 may be better suited for running enthusiasts given its larger running deck (22 inches wide by 60 inches long) as well as its decline capabilities down to -3%. Plus, the NordicTrack Commercial 1250 features a higher weight capacity of 400 pounds compared to the T Series 10’s 325-pound max load. These differences are illustrated in a $300 price increase for the Commercial 1250, too.

In our opinion, either machine can be suitable for your best treadmill workouts, but if you’re a larger athlete or want to better mimic on-road training conditions, the Commercial 1250 may be a better option. Read through our comparison chart below to get a feel for how the NordicTrack T Series 10 and Commercial 1250 treadmills stack up against one another in each major metric.

Customer Experience

The NordicTrack T Series 10 comes with the brand’s standard treadmill warranty. This includes lifetime support for the 3.0 continuous horsepower motor as well as 10-year coverage for the frame, 2-year coverage for parts, 1-year coverage for the display, and 1-year support for labor.

We do think this is a substantial package and score the warranty at 4 out of 5, but GGR Reviews Everything lead reviewer Lindsay Scheele states that there’s an important caveat to remember. “Your warranty can be voided if you don’t keep this treadmill in a climate-controlled environment,” she notes, meaning you cannot store this machine in an uninsulated garage.

If you have a question about your NordicTrack machine, you can contact the brand at 1-833-680-4348. NordicTrack also offers a Live Chat feature at the corner of the brand’s retail site, which gives you the option to speak to an expert directly to address any potential inquiries.

Ordering and Assembling the NordicTrack T Series 10 Treadmill

Ordering the NordicTrack T Series 10 treadmill is as simple as any other online transaction. After you’ve added the treadmill to your online cart, you’ll also need to select your preferred iFIT membership package. If you’re looking to save some money, we do recommend looking at the available multi-year agreements, which essentially trade longer commitments for a lower overall cost.

The NordicTrack T Series 10 Treadmill running surface

As far as assembly is concerned, NordicTrack does offer professional setup service for an additional fee—the cost was $299 extra for my experience, although rates may differ depending on your location. If you’re less savvy with tools and builds, this extra fee may be worthwhile, although our aforementioned experience with plastic components coming loose does illustrate that the process is not foolproof.

If you do opt to put this T Series 10 treadmill together yourself, we do recommend having an extra set of hands available. While not required for every step in the assembly, having some assistance can be helpful when trying to line up heavier components or when it comes to moving the treadmill to its final set position within your training space.

Customer Reviews

As stated before, the NordicTrack T Series 10 is a newer treadmill in comparison to the brand’s other offerings, so online reviews haven’t exactly stacked up quite yet. However, this machine has earned high praises thus far on the NordicTrack site, earning a 4.5-star rating based on 31 customer responses. “I’ve enjoyed using this so much! I love the iFIT trainers and the different types of workouts,” states one positive customer review. “This treadmill is a good size and fits nicely in my space without taking up too much room.”

Final Verdict of Our NordicTrack T Series 10 Treadmill Review

If you’re in the market for an affordable treadmill capable of streaming workouts, the NordicTrack T Series 10 should be worth considering. “I do think this is a decently-priced treadmill, and there’s a lot going for it between the iFIT programming and available specs,” says certified personal trainer Lindsay Scheele. We appreciate the available speed and incline ranges, and feel these metrics could support plenty of at-home cardio sessions. While we did have some mishaps regarding assembly, which we’ll chalk up as a one-time circumstance for the time being, we do feel this can be an excellent budget-minded machine for athletes of all fitness levels.

NordicTrack T Series 10 Treadmill FAQs

Can you run on the NordicTrack T Series 10 treadmill?

Yes, the T Series 10 can support running workouts thanks to its 60-inch by 20-inch treadmill deck, as well as its max speed of up to 12 miles per hour. Both of these metrics—along with the 3.0 continuous horsepower motor—should be suitable for high-intensity training protocols.

What is the warranty on the NordicTrack T Series 10 treadmill?

NordicTrack covers the T Series 10 treadmill with the brand’s standard warranty package. Coverage includes a lifetime warranty for the motor along with 10-year support for the frame, 2-year coverage for parts, 1-year coverage for the 10-inch display, and 1-year support for labor.

Is the NordicTrack T Series discontinued?

While the T Series treadmills were discontinued for a short period, it appears the brand has brought the silhouettes back beginning in 2025. At the time of this writing, the T Series 10 is the lone treadmill profile available, although we wouldn’t be surprised to see NordicTrack offer multiple T Series silhouettes in the future.

How much is iFIT per month?

The iFIT platform is available in two memberships. Train is $15.99 per month, but only applies to Bluetooth devices, such as your smartphone or tablet. To use your iFIT membership on your compatible NordicTrack or ProForm cardio machine, you’ll need to sign up for the Pro plan, which costs $39.99 monthly. You can sign up for multi-year iFIT subscriptions, though, for discounted rates in exchange for longer commitments.
