Orra Audio updates Press multi-engine compressor plugin to v1.2.0

Orra Audio has announced an update to its multi-module serial compressor effect plugin for Windows and macOS (VST3, AU and AAX).

Version 1.2.0 of Orra Press comes with a new clipper module, per-slot solo, a sidechain high-pass, and more.

Most compressors give you one engine and one workflow. Orra Press gives you seven dynamics engines that can be loaded into any of six reorderable slots — so the chain matches the song, not the other way around.

Clipper: a seventh module. Three curve shapes, a knee, drive, parallel mix and anti-aliased oversampling.
Per-slot solo, latency-matched so nothing shifts in time and your host’s delay compensation never changes.
18x faster Multiband: a rewritten linear-phase crossover with a mathematically identical response.
Sidechain high-pass on Classic, Optical and FET, so a bus compressor can ignore kick and sub energy.
14 new multi-module factory chains: vocals, drums, bass, mix bus, mastering, and broadcast voice.
Spectral TILT and DELTA, AUTO gain on four modules, Classic LIFT for upward compression, and tooltips in seven languages.
