If you’re a nerd about getting just the right sense of space in a mix, FlexVerb lets you dive deep into the details. Separately configuring the early and late reflections is a powerful tool to get a reverb that suits your track perfectly.
Pushing things to the front or the back of the mix in a couple of tweaks, shaping bus sends or giving individual instruments a lot of character and separation in a short amount of time are some of the use-cases I can see with this plugin.
Using it for more crazy and experimental applications in sound design also seems like a good idea with all the granular control this plug-in gives you over the reverb. Surprise your listener with weird and unique sounds or unnerving and unnatural sounding room ambience!

A common problem with a lot of plug-ins is that complex functionality often leads to a cluttered and daunting UI, but FlexVerb seems surprisingly welcoming in that regard.
It has a combination of sliders and knobs to dial in the reverb character and EQ respectively, as well as a frequency analyzer that shows you what you’re doing to the signal.
I might add that the analyzer has a nice luminous afterglow for those of you who like shiny things.
