This is not the first time the girls are collaborating and in this one they are trying to respond to some issues about their color and their female presence in rap music.Talking about issues…The track is the two artists’ first time working together since 2022’s “Persuasive” and Doechii’s biggest release since “Anxiety”.”Girl, Get up.,” samples the Neptunes’ drums from Birdman and Clipse’s “What Happened To That Boy?” and although it doesn’t sound like a song that will stay for a long time in the spotlight it remains a big collab for music especially in the USA.
