Trick Daddy and Trina share DJ duties in Rockstar’s next game as Miami’s musical roots help shape the fictional city’s sound.
Trick Daddy and Trina are taking Miami’s rap sound into Grand Theft Auto VI as hosts of its Dirty South Classics radio station.
Rockstar Games revealed the pairing on October 8, giving the longtime collaborators a new place to play Southern hits inside the game’s Vice City setting.
“Me and Trina been representing Miami and the South from day one… We still here, we still working, and we still making history,” Trick said in a statement carried by iHeartRadio.
Rockstar promises “A little southern hospitality from Trick and Trina” with a playlist built around the region’s older rap records.

The station’s preview includes David Banner and Lil’ Flip’s “Like A Pimp,” plus JT Money and Solé’s “Who Dat.”
DJ Khaled’s “Born N Raised” also makes the preview, with Trick Daddy joining Rick Ross and Pitbull on the record.
CBS Miami reports that Slip-N-Slide Records founder Ted Lucas helped curate the station, adding the label’s input to the game’s music choices.
The assignment builds on a partnership that helped introduce Trina to a national rap audience through Trick Daddy’s 1998 song “Nann.”
Their shared catalog also includes “Shut Up” and “Take It to Da House,” giving the new radio team years of musical history together.
They have already brought that chemistry to the airwaves through their morning show on Miami’s WEDR 99 Jamz, announced in 2019 for 2020.
“We were talking about it for a while and the opportunity came about to us so we just decided to say yeah,” Trina told the Miami Herald then.
The game gives that pairing another setting, with their station devoted to regional rap favorites that fit its Florida-inspired world.
Rockstar’s music preview page also lists Flash FM, where Robyn and Alex handle pop, alongside several other stations with different sounds.
Bad Bunny and RaiNao host Cocoteo FM, while Burna Boy and Palms Trax bring African music to the AfroBank FM lineup.
Rockstar is also releasing Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a separate collection of 34 original tracks tied to the game.
Its preview singles feature Travis Scott, Cardi B and Yung Lean; “That’s It” also includes Future and Metro Boomin.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to arrive November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
