A Brief History of American Poets 2099
Origins: The group was originally formed as Warcloud, Pro The Leader, Sobretti, and Anti The Decimator around 2001-2003 under the name Original American Poets.
Evolution: In 2007, the group expanded and evolved into American Poets 2099, including The Holocaust, Pro The Leader, Nova-Kane, and Atlantis Scrolls. Ace Gauntlit and Bootface joined in 2008 during the recording of ‘Pro Lab 3’.
Changes: In 2009, during the recording process, while The Holocaust was incarcerated, C-Rayz-Walz stepped in as a member, much like Tragedy Khadafi did on the first C-N-N album when Capone was locked up. Master of Ceremoniez joined later on. While some members have been more active than others, you can always count on The Holocaust, Pro, Nova-Kane, and Masta of Ceremoniez to represent the collective.
