Vaelyra Stryn is available in AU and VST3 formats for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

The download is available directly from the product page.

Vaelyra Stryn offers six distinct resonant body character variations: Wood, Glass, Crystal, Metal, Hollow, Hybrid, and Dark Body.

These variations set the core character of the sound, which you can then shape with the Exciter and String controls.

The Exciter determines the type of initial contact, with softer options like Felt to harder impacts like Hammer.

Between the Stryn Core (resonant body character variations) and Exciter controls, you can quickly create sounds that are ideal for melodic, textural content, or harsh cinematic impacts.

The entire instrument has a cinematic, dystopian character, but the softer and darker settings, like Felt and Dark Body, are great for plucked melodic patterns that accompany gritty pads/textures.

You can be melodic with the brighter/harsher sounds, of course, but those become overwhelming fast with too many notes.

Whatever your goal is, you can lean more into that character with the String control, adjusting the vibration and resonant behaviour. You can shape the sound to fit percussive patterns or single strikes that ring out with varying textures.

Vaelyra Stryn also features a range of built-in FX and tone-shaping macro controls, including Chorus, Dimension, Reverb, and Ensemble.

Rather than a typical randomiser, Vaelyra Stryn has Inspire, a function that creates a new musically structured starting point.

Next to Inspire is Evolve, a function that provides an instant and sensible evolution/variation of the current sound.

The plugin has four performance modes, including a CPU Saver mode, for optimal performance in different scenarios.
