It’s the week of the big matchup and Loudwire Nights is ready to help you determine the winner. What? You thought we were talking about the Super Bowl? No, we want to know who has the better music scene – the states of Kansas and Missouri or the state of Pennsylvania.
While the Chiefs and Eagles may squaring off on the gridiron, this matchup has given us a chance to reflect on the great music scenes associated with the teams in this year’s Super Bowl.
On one side, you have the Kansas-Missouri border city Kansas City, so we’ll share some favorites from both cities throughout the week reflecting on the rich history of the Sunflower and Show Me states.

Meanwhile, while Philadelphia is know for soul music, the state of Pennsylvania has been quite successful over the years of generating rock and metal bands as well.
