The New York Knicks have done something that many said was impossible. After a 53-year championship title drought, the Knicks finally emerged victorious and defeated the San Antonio Spurs to claim the coveted NBA Trophy.
Naturally, all of New York is celebrating. From the Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ ‘Empire State Of Mind‘ having the biggest streaming day to date (1.52 million streams!) to the Wu-Tang Clan’s halftime performance in the playoffs, all of hip hop is buzzing again; from the streets, all the way to television and sports arenas.
Now, the Wu-Tang Clan have also made a special appearance on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, where they celebrated the Knicks’ win rapping their classic records live on stage. They were also seen sporting the New York Knicks jerseys and jackets at a time that is truly positively emotional for the city. Check out their brilliant homage to their city below!
