Adrien Broner and DeenTheGreat targeted Kai Cenat in “Purple App Killa,” while Lemuel Plummer offered a different view of the feud.
Former four-division boxing champion Adrien Broner and DeenTheGreat took their feud with Kai Cenat into the studio and released “Purple App Killa,” a new diss track and music video with Hitmaka.
DeenTheGreat named Kai Cenat as the target when he announced the October 15 release. “KAI CENAT DISS TRACK OUT NOW,” he wrote in a post on X, directing fans to the full video.
The pair had already shared behind-the-scenes footage of work on the song and its music video before the finished clip went live. Broner and DeenTheGreat both appeared as collaborators on the official upload, which ran just under three minutes.
The release followed DeenTheGreat’s public complaint about visiting Kai’s Vivet clothing stand at ComplexCon. He said he came to support the brand and spend money but felt like a random fan.

Their complaints circulated on October 5, more than a week before DeenTheGreat announced the finished track.
He and Ray J discussed the dispute with Zeus Network founder Lemuel Plummer, who had a different account of his own visit to the stand.
NDTV Sports reported that Plummer bought six outfits from Vivet. During the exchange, DeenTheGreat argued that Kai should have given Plummer clothes for free.
Plummer said he had chosen to pay because he wanted to support the business. He also said Kai had thanked him for coming through.
“I bought it. I wanted to support it,” Plummer said.
DeenTheGreat kept pressing the point about the clothes. Plummer instead credited Kai with building the brand with his own money and described a warm reception at the booth.
He offered to call Kai during the discussion. DeenTheGreat told him not to bother. Plummer held to his own account: “Well, he did give me respect.”
As the diss video arrived, DeenTheGreat also had a live event with Hitmaka and KICK. The platform billed the producer as the DJ for its COB Halloween Bash, a Miami party presented by KICK and DeenTheGreat.
The event was billed as KICK-exclusive. DeenTheGreat posted that the bash was live shortly after he announced the song.
