Carbonated Audio has announced the release of a mid/side stereo imager plugin with a live polar vectorscope. Pour provides a surgical way to widen the low end without collapsing mono compatibility.
A classic M/S stereo imager with a live vectorscope. Shuffle & Space shape your low-end stereo spread. Width, Rotation, and Asymmetry steer the whole field. Drop it on any stereo track and hear your mix open up.
Pour features
- Shuffle + Space — Blumlein bass stereo shuffling with a 40–400 Hz crossover.
- Width — ±6 dB side gain for widening or narrowing the stereo field.
- Rotation — ±45° M/S vector tilt (Waves S1 style).
- Asymmetry — phantom center shift without affecting overall width.
- Live polar vectorscope with persistence trail.
- Solo Side — audition stereo-only content before mono fold-down.
- M/S metering on input + output.
- Pop-up preset browser (Bass, Vocal, Drum, Guitar).
- A/B compare and 64-step Undo / Redo.
- Zero latency, low CPU.
Pour for Windows and macOS (VST3, AU and AAX) is priced $20 USD. It is also available as part of the Carbonated Audio Complete Bundle (also including Carbonator, De-Sipper and On Tap) for $60 USD.
