The Neptunes rivalry seems to be never ending, with Pharrell and Chad Hugo going back and forth in legal bouts. First, over copyright and now over appropriate credit and compensation.
Not too long ago, Hugo initiated his second case against Pharrell, who is widely considered as one of the best music producers of this generation. According to Hugo, not only did he not receive appropriate credit for authorship of some of the songs him and Pharrell worked on, but also missed out on fair pay for his efforts.
Now, Hugo has provided more detail into the matter, providing specific song names to the court for the sake of a more solid claim. The list includes the following songs thus far:
“Motomami” by Rosalía
“La Combi Versace” by Rosalía
“Cash In Cash Out”
“Love Is Not Written”
“Pure”
“Real One” ft. Latto
“Lost and Found” ft. Tyler the Creator
“Freestyle” ft. Tyler the Creator
