Cordae and Anderson .Paak are a musical match made in heaven, and that’s a fact that has been apparent since the two joined forces to drop ‘Two Tens.’ The playful, suave, slick talking energy and melodic prowess is hardly ever wasted on rappers that possess the kind of charm and charisma that Cordae and Paak do.
The sentiment was only reinstated when the two again complimented each other on ‘A Good Day,’ where the video paid a fun-loving homage to Ice Cube’s Friday performance. Now, the whole album is here.
Titled Heavy Is The Crown the project is an 11-track journey that feels like it ends too early (in the best way possible, of course!) The cover features both artists playing their goofy selves over bodies that seem to be swapped, dressed in what can only be a school uniform. The wit, humor and soul just leaks out from each song on the project. Check it out below!
