Drake is always in conversation one way or another, and turned some serious heads back when he released 3 albums in one go to leave his UMG deal. Apparently, he owed them only one but it was part of a strategy.
During a recent stream, DJ Akademiks spoke on the matter and disclosed the aforementioned. He also went on to address speculation around Drake’s business moves in the future and said that Drake is about to sign the biggest record deal with UMG in terms of advance paid.
“Drake is at the precipice – and I can definitely say this…this is definitely official, and I think everybody is speculating and reporting on it, accurately, he’s on the precipice of being in a new deal,” said DJ Akademiks.
“He’s set to receive probably the biggest record deal in history, on the books,” he added. Considering this is someone close to Drake, the information may actually be true, as bizarre as it may seem. What do you think?
