Drake is not done after dropping three albums in the aftermath of what is considered by many as one of the best rap beefs in the history of hip hop. The rapper is coming out with yet another album (called Fear Of Missing Out), and of course, he has a film to accompany it.
In Drake’s own words, it’s a “not so short film directed and scored by the family,” and will release on September 15th. To make the announcement, Drake dropped the trailer on his Instagram handle, where he can be seen in a motorboat speeding across water.
The voiceover in the back points towards the spirit of the album itself. It talks about two versions of oneself (particularly Drake, in this case) where one version is avoidant of love and risk, and the other embraces it. This is probably Drake’s way of announcing he’s onto the next chapter of his life and another version of himself. Check out the trailer below!
