Lucki faces a $1.5 million lawsuit accusing him of lying to his former manager while reckless spending and hotel damage buried the executive in debt.
Mark Buol filed the federal complaint September 8 in Manhattan against Lucki, whose legal name is Lucki Camel Jr.
Buol claims he managed Lucki from 2021 until 2026 under an oral agreement covering commissions, expenses and advances.
The former Empire vice president says Lucki promised him 15% of all entertainment income and repayment for every approved advance.

Buol alleges he accepted a smaller commission because Lucki agreed to hire an accountant, but the rapper never maintained that professional help.
“[Lucki] mismanaged his financial affairs, including by failing to pay creditors monies he owed them; he did not possess a credit card, and was notorious for accepting paid features without ever actually delivering a verse in return,” the complaint states.
Buol claims he handled management and many business duties while using his Empire position and industry relationships to expand Lucki’s career.
The lawsuit credits Buol with recovering $177,284.74 in performance royalties and helping Lucki secure multimillion-dollar recording and publishing advances.
However, their relationship began cracking before Lucki’s February 2024 Canadian tour, when Buol said he would no longer bankroll touring costs.
Buol temporarily quit after a hotel confrontation, while Lucki allegedly shortened one performance, missed another show and caused the remaining dates to be canceled.
Lucki returned the following month with promises to open a business account, deposit more than $100,000 and provide Buol with a company credit card.
“[Lucki] sent Plaintiff photographs purporting to show [Lucki] opening a business bank account, represented to Plaintiff that [Lucki] was then depositing over $100,000 into the business bank account, and that the monies in the account would fund [Lucki’s] upcoming tour,” the lawsuit alleges.
Buol says those representations were false, leaving him responsible for Lucki’s next tour after JPMorgan Chase allegedly ended the rapper’s banking relationship.
The manager claims he depleted his savings, maxed out personal credit cards and sold investments while financing Lucki’s growing operation.
The expenses allegedly included luxury hotels where Lucki damaged rooms, ran up costly bills and housed guests without Buol’s approval.
“[Lucki] repeatedly caused damage to these hotel rooms — including shattering a television at the Nobu Atlanta, incurring over $6,000 in charges in a single night at the Tampa EDITION hotel, and damaging a room at the Thompson hotel in Dallas,” Buol alleges.
Another section claims Lucki smashed a television and left marijuana burns on furniture inside his Nobu Atlanta suite.
Buol says roughly $15,000 went toward hotel damage charges, while another $214,822 financed Lucki’s 30-city Gemini Tour.
“[Lucki’s] failure to do so left Plaintiff in a position of severe financial hardship,” the filing states. “Plaintiff was forced to finance the tour in its entirety, substantially depleting his liquid savings and maxing out his personal credit cards.”
The complaint also accuses Lucki of ordering Empire, tour promoters and other companies to redirect Buol’s 15% commission into the rapper’s account.
Buol claims more than $1 million in commissions remains unpaid and at least $225,000 in advances has not been reimbursed.
“[Lucki] repeatedly told Plaintiff to ‘stay out’ of his ‘business,’ threatening that he would ‘make sure no one ever worked with [Plaintiff] again,’” the complaint states.
The manager seeks damages for breach of contract, unjust enrichment and broken promises, plus a court-ordered review of Lucki’s finances.
The dispute adds to lawsuits already threatening the Chicago rapper’s money and control over his career.
AllHipHop previously reported that Empire sued Lucki in October 2025 after he released “Not So Virgo of You” through rival distributor UnitedMasters.
Empire claimed its 2024 agreement gave the company exclusive distribution rights and options covering three additional Lucki albums.
The label alleged it had paid approximately $9 million in advances and expenses since 2019, including $600,000 for studio and production costs.
In August 2026, Blueprint Productions also sued Lucki for nearly $182,000 over merchandise manufactured and delivered for his 2024 tour.
Blueprint alleged the merchandise generated more than $859,000, but Lucki paid only two invoices before leaving five unpaid.
The company said it extended credit for the tour and later lost suppliers, borrowing power and business because bills remained outstanding.
Lucki also faced a public dispute in August when a promoter accused him of performing only two songs after receiving $60,000.
Those financial battles followed another major setback during July, when thieves entered Lucki’s West Hollywood home while he toured Europe.
AllHipHop reported that Lucki returned home and discovered nearly $500,000 in bags, clothing and other belongings missing.
Lucki later posted jewelry and cash online while declaring, “All I know how to do is pop it.”
Buol has demanded a jury trial, but Lucki had not filed a response to the September 8 complaint by Monday.
