In need of a blockbuster energy boost before training? Some of the strongest pre-workouts can be loaded with high-stim ingredients perfect for giving you a front-row seat to locked-in fitness. One such pre-workout—and the reason for so many movie-related puns—is Jacked Factory Wick Mode.

In this Jacked Factory Wick Mode review, our expert team of personal trainers, nutrition coaches, and lifelong fitness enthusiasts critique this cinematic solution, providing ratings in categories including taste, solubility, formulation, and more. Ready to see if this supp stacks up to the competition? Get your popcorn ready—we’re diving right into our findings.

100+ Pre-Workouts, Reviewed and Rated

GGR’s testing panel of certified personal trainers, registered dietitians, nutrition coaches, and strength specialists has gotten hands-on with over 100 types of pre-workouts to date! From stim-free blends to highly caffeinated formulas (and everything in-between), we’ve seen—and felt—it all.

Each product goes through our GGR supplement testing methodology that helps us score pre-workouts across several key categories, including:

  • Cost per serving: We look at both the cost and the value of each tested pre-workout. Pre-workouts under $1 per serving typically score higher, while those above $2 must deliver standout qualities—think evidence-based formulations and third-party certifications—to earn top marks.
  • Ingredients and formulation: We look for formulas built on clinically backed ingredients—like caffeine, l-citrulline, and beta-alanine—and adequate dosages to deliver the most effective results. Top marks go to products that stick to transparent labeling (no proprietary blends), as well as those that use ingredients in research-supported amounts, steering clear of unnecessary fillers or potentially harmful stimulants like synephrine or yohimbe.
  • Available flavors: Flavor is subjective, so we combine tester feedback and customer reviews to gauge overall taste, aftertaste, and how it stacks up to other pre-workouts. We give bonus points to brands that offer multiple flavors, too —if one doesn’t quite hit the mark, there’s a good chance another will.
  • Solubility: A good pre-workout should mix easily in water with little to no grit, clumps, or weird “floaties.” We examine how well each powder blends, both immediately after shaking as well as after it sits to see if anything separates or settles.
  • Pre-workout effects: We pay close attention to how a pre-workout actually feels during workouts, looking for highlights such as clean energy, strong pumps, and sharp focus. We also watch out for the less desirable side effects, including any shakiness or pronounced digestive discomfort.
  • Third-party testing: Since supplements aren’t regulated by the FDA, third-party testing helps ensure what’s on the label is actually in the product. We especially look for certifications from trusted groups—like NSF Certified for Sport, Informed Choice, and BSCG—and appreciate when companies are transparent with their testing results.

Jacked Factory Wick Mode is a great choice for those looking for a pre-workout that tastes great, helps with energy and focus, and gives you noticeable pumps.

What our tester says:

“You get a noticeable pump from this pre-workout. Biceps be bustin’.”

A Quick Look at Jacked Factory Wick Mode Pre-Workout

Jacked Factory has built a strong reputation with a wide range of products, including some of the best protein powders, thermogenic fat burners, muscle builders, sleep aids, and more. Many of the brand’s formulas appeal to gym-goers looking for clear labeling and effective, research-supported ingredients.

Now, the brand takes a cinematic turn with Wick Mode—a pre-workout created in collaboration with the John Wick film franchise. It’s designed to deliver the energy, focus, and resilience you need to power through your toughest training sessions (or your run-of-the-mill movie villain).

But before channeling into a “legendary assassin in every workout,” there are some things to know.

Before You Buy

  • You can choose between single- and double-scoop servings, making it easy to adjust your caffeine intake to what feels right for you—just keep in mind that a single scoop might not provide enough of other key ingredients to trigger certain effects.
  • There’s no evidence of third-party testing or banned substance screening with this pre-workout, which could be a concern for competitive athletes or anyone prioritizing verified supplement quality and label transparency.

Is Jacked Factory Wick Mode Pre-Workout Worth It?

At just $0.75 per scoop (or $1.50 per two-scoop serving), Jacked Factory Wick Mode Pre-Workout delivers great value, especially for a high-stim formula with solid ingredient dosing. It’s a flexible option that can work for both beginners and experienced lifters, depending on how much caffeine—and overall intensity—you’re after. Of course, though, while we praise this powder in multiple categories, we realize that not every supplement is fit for every interested athlete.

Great for:

  • Anyone who wants to dial up their caffeine intake with a high-stim formulation
  • High-stim pre-workout fans seeking improved focus and muscle pumps
  • Budget-conscious lifters looking for effective ingredients at affordable costs

Not recommended for:

  • Those who want creatine monohydrate or electrolytes for hydration in their pre-workout supplement
  • Anyone looking to avoid caffeine, beta-alanine, or artificial sweeteners
  • Competitive athletes who need third-party tested supplements

Experience Using Jacked Factory Wick Mode Pre-Workout

A competitive weightlifter colleague served as our expert tester for this Jacked Factory X John Wick Pre-Workout review. Their verdict? “I really enjoyed my testing experience and will happily finish my container. Future purchases are definitely on the horizon.”

Kate Meier, NASM-CPT, USAW-L1, CF-L1, also put Wick Mode to the test. While Jacked Factory NitroSurge remains her all-time favorite pre-workout, she notes, “I don’t really get the tingles with NitroSurge (which I like). Energy and focus-wise, they are pretty similar. Maybe a bit more jacked up with Wick Mode.”

There’s more where that came from, so let’s dive deeper into the details.

Price Per Serving

Wick Mode costs $29.99 per container, but how far it stretches depends on your serving size: using 1 scoop per serving provides 40 servings at about $0.75 each, while 2 scoops per serving halves that to 20 servings and roughly $1.50 each.

We awarded Wick Mode a perfect 5 out of 5 for price, as it fits squarely within the premium pre-workout market, especially considering the quality and meaningful dosing of its key ingredients.

Formulation

Wick Mode is a high-stim pre-workout featuring many of the best pre-workout ingredients for energy, pump, and focus, earning it a solid 4.5-out-of-5 formulation rating. Registered dietitian Bob Iafelice, MS, RDN, LDN, adds, “This has all the key parts of a good, high-stim pre-workout, and at meaningful doses, to boot.”

Here’s a closer look at how the ingredients stack up in a full two-scoop serving, with notes highlighting a single scoop where most relevant:

  • L-Citrulline (8 g): A staple for enhancing nitric oxide production and muscle pumps, with research showing that 6 to 8 grams is ideal for peak vasodilation and blood flow. So, while one scoop falls short, two scoops hit the clinically-effective1 mark.
  • Beta-Alanine (4 g): This amino acid helps improve muscular endurance during high-intensity training. Two scoops provide a strong 4-gram dose, comfortably within the 3.2 to 6.4 gram range supported by research2, though you may feel the familiar skin-tingling (paresthesia) sensation often associated with pre-workout powders.
  • Caffeine Anhydrous (300 mg): A fast-acting stimulant that can deliver quick energy sparks and sharper focus1. At 300 milligrams, the two-scoop dose is potent and best suited for those with a higher tolerance.
  • Infinergy™ Dicaffeine Malate (100 mg): A patented, slower-digesting form of caffeine designed to help extend energy and prevent post-workout crashes. About 75% of this is active caffeine, bringing the total caffeine content to roughly 188 milligrams per scoop and roughly 375 milligrams in two scoops.
  • L-Tyrosine (2 g): Supports mental focus and cognitive performance, particularly when combined with caffeine and theanine. The 2-gram dose in two scoops is generous and in-line with most evidence-based guidelines3.
  • L-Theanine (200 mg): Often paired with caffeine to help defend against overstimulation, theanine can help reduce the potential jitters brought on by high stimulant consumption. While a 2021 meta-analysis4 suggests the ideal l-theanine to caffeine ratio is closer to 1:1, Wick Mode leans more stim-heavy. As such, the calming effect of theanine may be subtle.
  • Cognizin® Citicoline (250 mg): This patented form of CDP-choline supports memory, focus, and brain energy as a nootropic. At 250 milligrams, the two-scoop dose falls shy of the commonly-effective 500 milligrams shown in the research5.
  • Theobromine (100 mg): Naturally found in chocolate, theobromine6 is a mild central nervous system stimulant that complements more intense caffeine sources.
  • AstraGin® (50 mg): An absorption enhancer made from astragalus and ginseng that may improve uptake of amino acids and other nutrients.

Wick Mode also contains artificial flavors and sucralose—an artificial sweetener some users may wish to avoid due to potential digestive sensitivity or personal preference.

Taste and Solubility

Wick Mode earns perfect 5 out of 5 scores in taste and solubility, with both testers praising its smooth mixability and bold (but not overpowering) flavor.

Our one tester, a competitive weightlifter, tried the Blue Raspberry flavor and shared, “Essentially everything I wanted from a Blue Raz pre-workout and then some—almost reminiscent of a Blue Raspberry Jolly Rancher. It’s sweet, but not overly sweet.”

Our tester enjoying a serving of Jacked Factory Wick Mode pre-workout

Kate sampled the Osaka Cherry flavor and admitted she wasn’t entirely sure what it was supposed to taste like, but still enjoyed it nonetheless. “It’s a great dark cherry flavor, and there’s no sense of overpowering tastes, which I was surprised by with such a potent formulation,” she adds.

As for solubility, our testers described it as “practically perfect in a shaker bottle” and “just what you want out of a pre-workout, in my opinion.” Kate agreed, noting, “My sample dissolved easily with no grittiness or unwanted textures.”

Side Effects

Wick Mode delivered on its promise of high-stim energy for our testers, with both rating the side effects at a solid 4.5 out of 5. Like most powerful pre-workouts, though, it comes with a few trade-offs.

One tester, a competitive weightlifter, used one scoop for jiu-jitsu training and upped their serving for heavy lifting sessions. They shared, “I really enjoyed the energy and focus improvements from this pre-workout.” They also reported experiencing a great pump and feeling fuller during lifts “That said,” they add, “There is a mild comedown, and the intensity isn’t sustainable throughout the entirety of your training session.”

RELATED: Best Pre-Workouts for Focus

Kate reported a fast-acting energy boost without feeling overly wired, but she cautions that the tingles are no joke. “Be prepared—skin tingles are a definite with this formula. While not unbearable, based on my experience with other pre-workouts, they may be too much for less seasoned athletes.”

Amazon reviewers largely echo these experiences, though some report hardly noticing the energy boost or beta-alanine tingles, showcasing how effects can vary from person to person.

Third-Party Testing

Jacked Factory Wick Mode features transparent labeling and clinically-backed dosages, and the supplement is manufactured in a cGMP-certified facility. However, since the products have not been tested for banned substances or verified for purity by an accredited third-party lab, we’ve rated it at 2.5 out of 5 in this category.

Transparent Labs BULK Black is a step-up from the original BULK pre-workout with more stimulants for people looking for a bigger energy boost before their workout. It is also very positively reviewed by customers.

What our tester says:

“Peach Mango was a tropical drink served in a shaker bottle. It tastes so good that I actually want to sip it rather than just gulping it down like most pre-workouts.”

Like Jacked Factory Wick Mode, Transparent Labs BULK Black is built to boost energy, focus, and workout intensity with clinically-backed ingredients. Both can appeal to experienced lifters and stim-lovers, alike, but their differences might sway your choice:

  • Caffeine content: Wick Mode delivers about 375 milligrams per two-scoop serving, while BULK Black provides about 350 milligrams. Comparable, indeed, but Wick Mode may have an upper edge in the intensity department.
  • Ingredients and dosing: BULK Black features a broader and more comprehensive formula with 17 active ingredients including compounds like betaine, alpha-GPC, taurine, huperzine A, and Bioperine® for absorption. Wick Mode contains under 10 key ingredients, most of which are well-dosed, albeit with less breadth.
  • Sweeteners and flavoring: Wick Mode uses artificial sweeteners and flavors, whereas BULK Black avoids artificial additives and sticks to natural sweeteners like stevia.
  • Third-party testing: BULK Black is Informed Choice certified, meaning it’s tested for banned substances and purity, with its Certificate of Analysis available online. Wick Mode does not currently carry third-party certification.
  • Price and value: Wick Mode is more budget-friendly, priced between $0.75 and $1.50 per serving, depending on your preferred serving size. BULK Black costs $2.00 per serving but delivers a broader, more premium ingredient profile that may be worth it for those seeking a fully-loaded pre-workout powder.

Customer Experience

Jacked Factory earns a 3.5 out of 5 for customer experience, largely due to its limited support resources. The brand’s FAQ section is minimal, containing only five entries, which may leave users searching elsewhere—or feeling frustrated—when seeking answers to common questions.

That said, Jacked Factory offers a generous 90-day money-back guarantee, promising a full refund (minus shipping) if you’re not completely satisfied. To request a refund, customers simply need to return the product and contact the company via email or phone.

Ordering Jacked Factory Wick Mode Pre-Workout

Customer Reviews

With a 4.5-star rating on Amazon from nearly 400 reviews, Jacked Factory Wick Mode is a favored pick among pre-workout users. Many reviewers highlight its ability to power long training sessions, along with great-tasting flavors and minimal digestive issues.

That said, energy effects seem to vary—some users experience hours of clean, sustained energy, while others find the boost underwhelming or short-lived. The signature beta-alanine tingles are also inconsistent with some reporting just a slight sensation while others note intense bouts of irritating, annoying effects.

Final Verdict of Our Jacked Factory Wick Mode Review

Jacked Factory Wick Mode is a high-stim pre-workout designed to deliver strong energy, focus, and muscle pumps. Still, there are a few things to keep in mind before giving it a go:

  • Offers flexible dosing information with one- or two-scoop servings to adjust for stimulant intensity and overall effects.
  • Contains about 188 milligrams of caffeine per scoop and 375 milligrams per two scoops, making it best suited for those with moderate to high caffeine tolerances.
  • Features clinically-effective doses of key ingredients like l-citrulline, beta-alanine, and a caffeine blend that supports both quick energy and sustained focus.
  • Includes artificial sweeteners like sucralose, which may cause digestive discomfort for some users.
  • Lacks third-party testing certification, which may be a drawback for competitive athletes or those seeking verified purity.
  • Priced affordably at $0.75 per serving for one scoop and $1.50 for two scoops, providing strong value for such a potent pre-workout.
  • Users generally report solid energy, pump, and focus, though tingling and jitters can be especially pronounced at higher doses and vary between users.

Jacked Factory Wick Mode Pre-Workout: FAQs

How much caffeine is in Jacked Factory Wick Mode Pre-Workout?

Jacked Factory Wick Mode contains approximately 188 milligrams of caffeine per scoop, or 375 milligrams per two-scoop serving, sourced from fast-acting caffeine anhydrous and longer-lasting Infinergy™ dicaffeine malate.

How much does Jacked Factory Wick Mode cost?

Jacked Factory Wick Mode costs $29.99 per container, offering either 40 servings at about $0.75 each (one scoop) or 20 servings at roughly $1.50 each (two scoops), depending on your serving size preferences.

Are Jacked Factory supplements third-party tested?

No, Jacked Factory supplements currently do not carry third-party testing certifications.

What are some potential side effects of Jacked Factory Wick Mode?

Side effects are more likely and stronger with the two-scoop serving compared to one scoop. At two scoops, the 4 grams of beta-alanine may cause skin tingling (paresthesia)—a common yet harmless effect typically experienced with popular pre-workout supplements. The higher caffeine dose (roughly 375 milligrams) can increase the chance of jitters, rapid heartbeat, or overstimulation, especially in those sensitive to stimulants. Additionally, sucralose, an artificial sweetener, may cause digestive distress in some users.

Flex Wheeler’s Back Widow Attachment Review 2025: Worth the Cost?

by Cooper Mitchell, GGR Founder

Flex Wheeler’s Back Widow is one of the most versatile cable machine attachments ever created. It’s great as a “back blaster” for lat pulldowns and rows, but works just as well for curls and tricep work. In addition to that, it doubles as a deadlift jack and also works as a landmine. Honestly, unless you’re conscious of all it does, you’ll forget just how often you can use it. It is expensive and we do recommend it, but only to those that will use it’s various capabilities and don’t want to take up space with a ton of different attachments. Read more
