Line 6 has launched Helix Stadium Native Intro, a free amp and effects plugin for macOS and Windows.
Helix Stadium Native launched on August 4th, 2026, and the Intro license is a permanent free version of the new Helix Stadium Native plugin with fewer models.

I also think it is worth clarifying what this does not replace. Helix Stadium Native is the plugin version of the newer Helix Stadium hardware platform, while the original Helix Native remains a separate product for the older Helix/HX ecosystem.
So, Helix Stadium Native Intro is more like Line 6’s new free entry point into the Stadium platform, similar in spirit to how Two Notes offers a free Intro version of Genome.
The free Intro version includes five Agoura amp models with matching speaker cabinets, including guitar amps and an Ampeg SVT-50th Anniversary bass head with an Ampeg 810 SVT AV cab. Agoura is Line 6’s newer amp modeling methodology, designed to capture more detail in tube and transformer behavior, plus the way speakers and cabinets interact dynamically with the amp.
You also get 16 effects, covering distortion, modulation, delay, reverb, dynamics, an input gate, and a seven-band parametric EQ. The effects are not only for guitars, either. Since this is a plugin, you can use the delays, reverbs, compressor, or EQ on other tracks in your DAW.
One of the cool features in the free version is Proxy clone loading. Helix Stadium Native Intro can load Proxy clones created with Helix Stadium hardware, with up to two Proxy clones per preset. It also supports third-party cabinet impulse responses, so it can work as a free amp/cab/clone host inside your DAW.
It also comes with Focus View, which gives you contextual tone controls with descriptive zones instead of only traditional parameter editing, plus the Hype control for moving between more authentic and more idealized amp responses.
Factory presets include Preset Clips, so you can hear the sound in context with a pre-recorded guitar or bass performance. There is also Preset Info, a built-in tuner, snapshots, MIDI control, automation/controller assignment, and support for six sample rates from 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz.
The paid Helix Stadium Native version unlocks 27 Agoura amps, 111 HX amps, 46 cabs, 274 effects, four Proxy clones per preset, hardware preset compatibility, future updates, and premium support. The full license is priced from $99.99 to $399.99, depending on upgrade or registered hardware status, and a 15-day free trial is available.
Helix Stadium Native Intro is available in AAX, AU, and VST3 plugin formats for macOS and Windows.
