We never thought we’d come across a plugin decorated with camels, but this funky bundle from Safari Audio offers some of the most striking interfaces we’ve ever seen.
The bundle deal, exclusive to Plugin Boutique, features five plugins and would normally total at £240.98, but with 81 percent off until 1 March, you can get them all for less than 50 quid. These plugins bring the experimental nature of physical guitar pedals to the digital realm, and not only do they look cool, but each one offers a range of useful tools and versatile effects.
Inside the bundle you’ll get the Camel Strip vintage-inspired channel strip plugin, which combines three legendary compressors and EQs that can be toggled between and are displayed on the interface. It also offers a dynamic gate, input drive, and lush spring & plate reverbs.
Arguably one of the coolest looking out the bunch is the Rabbit Tape tape emulation, offering Cassette and Reel-to-Reel Tape modules as well as features like Wow and Flutter knobs to modulate the sound for authentic tape movement. You also get the Falcon Air EQ within this bundle, which promises to deliver “pristine shimmer and tames harshness like a pro”.
Another animal-themed goodie is the Bull Sub Machine, designed in collaboration with Grammy-winning mix engineer Leslie Brathwaite, known for his work with Cardi B, Pharrell Williams, and Lil Uzi Vert. Rounding off the whole bundle is Noam’s Mastering Console, a faithful plugin recreation of the custom-built 1-of-1 tube mastering desk made exclusively for Safari HQ (Noam is the founder of the brand).
This one has no animal aesthetic tomfoolery, but does combine analogue circuitry with modern flexible tools. Take a closer look in the video below:
