PSP Audioware has announced an update to its high-end real-time analysis and metering plugin built for engineers who need absolute confidence in loudness, dynamics, and stereo image.
Version 1.2.0 of PSP Metra comes with various new features and improvements.
Inspired by the clarity of classic 1980s plasma meters and powered by modern measurement standards, PSP Metra combines visual readability with state-of-the-art loudness compliance, making it equally at home in music production, mastering rooms, and broadcast environments.
Changes in Metra v1.2.0
- Added RMS Values View with numerical Peak and RMS readouts, Short Term and Integrated RMS measurements, Overall Energy, and related controls.
- Added a Loudness Gating indicator in the Integrated readout.
- Added global multi-instance configuration button for selecting priority display mode (Max or Current) for Loudness Momentary and Short Term readouts.
- Added the ability to define a user default preset for all newly created plug-in instances.
- Added preset name editing functionality.
- Fixed an issue where readout fields were unintentionally clipped in the Loudness Values view.
- Fixed an issue where slider controls did not respond to manual numeric value entry in the Loudness Values view.
- Fixed Crest Factor not working in VU mode.
- Fixed an issue where LU TPMax and LU Target indicators in Metra View (Loudness mode) did not follow changes to the Overload head parameter.
- Corrected the lower scale range display. The minimum time range was incorrectly shown as 5 seconds instead of 10 seconds.
- Implemented automatic reset of all RMS measurement buffers when playback start is detected from the DAW. This does not affect the History View timeline or its stored data.
Available for Windows and macOS in VST/VST3, AU and AAX formats, PSP Metra is priced $99 USD at the PSP store and from AudioDeluxe.
