Quavo is out with his highly anticipated new song ‘Trance,’ which features production from none other than the hitmaker, 4-stop-song-starter, Pharrell. After what Pharrell did recently on Lil Baby’s ‘Dead Fresh,’ the hopes have been high from this one, and safe to say, it isn’t a let down.
In fact, in many ways it paves the way for the next chapter in Quavo’s sonic journey as far as the album goes. He sounds confident, almost as confident as Pharrell did during the sessions with Quavo where he said that this would be a place for Quavo to channelise his ‘ambition and all that firepower.’
The song is as laidback as it is energetic and dance-worthy; a juxtaposition of seemingly opposite worlds that coexists much like the best records do. Check it out below!
