In a rather sad turn of events, Serayah McNeill has called off her engagement with Joey Bada$$, who is also the father of their child. The announcement came in unexpectedly, where Serayah revealed it was time to put herself first.
In a post shared on Instagram, she spoke on how there comes a point in a woman’s life where choosing herself isn’t an option anymore, but a necessity. “I loved deeply, believed wholeheartedly in the life we were building, and wanted nothing more than to protect our family,” Serayah wrote.
“Unfortunately, I also had to face a painful truth: there had been repeated infidelity throughout our relationship, including during some of the most vulnerable and meaningful moments of my life,” she explained while also stating that this is the extent of the information she will be putting out publicly.
Serayah maintained that she wants to protect the child’s relationship with both the parents and will proceed accordingly, and will protect the privacy of their fallout and the infidelity she mentioned. Check out her post below!
