Sony is collaborating with Olivia Rodrigo to promote their latest earbuds. The exclusive version of the earbuds will have custom EQ for listening to her albums.
The new limited edition LinkBuds S x Olivia Rodrigo feature custom equalizers tuned by Olivia and her producer Daniel Nigro for listening to GUTS and SOUR. The earbuds come in a unique violet marble pattern styled by Olivia and made with factory-recovered plastic and reclaimed water bottles.
“I’m so excited that I got to design a limited edition LinkBuds S in the color violet,” Olivia Rodrigo shared about the partnership. “The sound is incredible, and I can’t wait for my fans to experience GUTS in this way.”
The earbuds with custom EQs include two special equalizers tailored for listening to Olivia’s music that can be accessed through the Sony Headphones Connect app.
Olivia chose to utilize an environmentally-conscious design featuring factory-recovered plastic and reclaimed water bottles to create the case and body of the earbuds. Due to the variation in the material, the headphones host a violet marble pattern that causes no two pairs of LinkBuds S x Olivia to look the same.
LinkBuds S feature noise-canceling, high-resolution audio all packed into an ultra light-weight design. They also feature smart features such as adaptive sound control and auto play that senses when the earbuds are placed in a user’s ear to start/stop accordingly. They also allow the listener to experience high-resolution audio thanks to Sony’s audio coding technology, LDAC. All music is restored back to high-range sound with the use of DSEE Extreme that upscales digital music files in real-time.
