Soulja Boy is eyeing the White House in 2028, but is Big Draco preparing for a real presidential campaign?
Soulja Boy might be preparing to trade his recording studio for the Oval Office after revealing that he is exploring a presidential run in 2028. Yes, the same man that rapped about skeeting on “Crank That” is now talking about occupying the White Hose. Criminal justice reform, education and artificial intelligence? OK.

Long before TikTok became the promotional machinery of choice for recording artists, Soulja was using the internet to build an audience and establish himself as a household name. Of course, creating a viral dance sensation and developing a national political platform are two entirely different enterprises. Right?
Is Soulja Boy seriously considering a political future, or is this another example of an entertainer testing the boundaries of his influence?
Big Draco isn’t the first rapper to entertain presidential ambitions. Waka Flocka Flame announced a 2016 White House bid back in 2015, and Kanye West had an actual presidential campaign in 2020.
And yet…he is publicly entertaining a different kind of ambition.
“The future starts with a conversation.”
Well, Soulja, the conversation has officially started.
