I haven’t heard a song from that genre trending in the Uk in a very very long time. In the past decades artists like Shaggy, Aswad or UB 40 had huge hits with reggae influenced vibes in the Uk chart. I could explain it if we were moving towards summer but fall isn’t exactly the right time for “Girls Around The World” to be a potential hit in the Uk the next days. The real reason for Digga to appear in the charts is a Morrisson’s recent diss track sparking a wave of discussion across social media. The track divided opinion, with some listeners questioning the language and allegations used, while others defended Morrisson’s side of the story. And the question on how Digga would respond led him to troll rap fans with “Girls All Around The World” a viral reggae-influenced track instead of a response to Morrisson’s diss track!. From his rise through UK drill to chart success, controversy and the different chapters that have followed, Digga has continued to find ways to keep people talking. And this track is a nice surprise despite the reason is trending right now.
