If you wanna test the new Purple Disco Machine single well there you have it.The Grammy Award-winning producer, real name Tino Piontek, has announced his fourth studio album,”Cosmotropia” set for release on April 30, 2027.”Test My Luck” featuring rising British pop artist MEEK is a typical PDM single that doesn’t set high standards to my ears but that doesn’t stop it from being a feel good dance anthem.Drawing inspiration from the cosmic disco and space-rock sounds of the 1970s and ’80s, “Cosmotropia” looks beyond the dancefloor to explore the sounds that shaped Piontek’s musical identity. “Test My Luck” provides the first glimpse with the track pairimg warm keys and vibrant disco production with an ‘80s disco-rock edge, landing somewhere between dancefloor anthem and widescreen pop. MEEK’s vocals add a sharper alternative-pop character, balancing confidence with vulnerability. But still i have heard better things from Tim and i was expecting something more “wow”.
