Every year on the 9th of September, the electronic music community does something it almost never does: agrees on something. The Roland TR-909 gets its annual moment in the sun, and for good reason. Without it, house and techno as we know them simply do not exist.

So in the spirit of the occasion, here is a perfectly reasonable excuse to abandon whatever you were supposed to be doing this afternoon.
