United Plugins has launched the UnitedFreeBundle, a collection of professional audio plugins, and it’s free!
The one caveat with the free collection is that the plugins feature an ad banner that displays United Plugins deals or products.
The advertisements don’t restrict your view of any plugin or its controls.
I know we see ads everywhere, and ideally, our DAW would be an ad-free zone, but it’s better than demo versions with time limits or intrusive noise.
These plugins are fully functional, and if the ads are too distracting, you can pay £43 for the ad-free bundle (92% off the combined product cost of £540).
The plugins are available in AU, VST, VST3, and AAX formats for macOS and Windows (installed via the United Plugins Manager).

But, as a free collection, the UnitedFreeBundle provides tools to tackle a long list of tasks, from crafting the perfect guitar tone to making sure vocals cut through the mix, and many things in between.
As you’ll notice, some of the featured plugins are entry-level versions of premium plugins, which is why they’re tagged as Core.
Retronaut Core is a good place to start; it’s a quick and easy way to add some retro character to a track.
The plugin adds vintage analogue-style modulation and saturation, and tape-like wow and flutter. You can quickly create simple vibrato effects or a more distinct four-voice chorus; it’s basically instant warm and gritty retro vibes.
If you want even more distinct movement in your sound, Orbitron Core offers six modulation types.
Electrum Core offers a stripped-down guitar amp/cab simulation that provides a straightforward workflow for users of all levels.
The UnitedFreeBundle is a great starting point for anyone at the beginning of their music production journey, and it includes valuable tools for more experienced producers looking to expand their collection.
