Yung Miami departed from City Girls and has finally arrived with her debut album project as a solo artist. She has a lot to prove, and so far, has displayed impeccable confidence. In fact, the album title itself is a statement: Watch Dis.
The album is packed with solid features too; everyone from Travis Scott, Quavo and Lil Baby to G Herbo, Kodak Black and Summer Walker is on the album. It is hard to fail with a roster of some of the finest artists believing in you, and the new album’s sound proves exactly that.
The 12-track project is clearly the spirit of an artist coming back with everything they have. She even mentioned it in the trailer for her album, saying, “I don’t know how some days I built the courage to go in the studio to even record. But I remember putting all my emotions, all of that energy, everything that I felt, into this album,” in reference to Joe Budden’s public criticism of her.
Can she keep the momentum going from ‘Spend Dat’ ? Check out the album below to see if the words measure up!
